Screws for solar panels?

I have a Coleman Lantern 192 RD that I'm in the process of adding solar to. It is a wood framed trailer with a TVP roof. My solar panel brackets came with screws, but they are sheet metal screws. What size and type screws should I use to attach the solar panels?

What size would you use and does the type of head matter?

and be sure to cover the screws and brackets with proper sealant to avoid any leaks. EPDM roofs it's usually dicor. don't know what is best for TVP.

I use stainless sheet metal screws. the roof is thin, don't know which holds better, sheet metal or wood screw.

I spent a few extra $$$ and used only stainless steel wood screws.
