Search for new tow vehicle

Any of the auto makers web sites have a "search inventory" feature that will locate the vehicle based on what options you want.

I also order all my trucks exactly the way I want them. I have no problem waiting a month or two to get exactly what I want, and also not something that umteen different people have been test driving around in.

I have always ordered my vehicles. No big deal and you can get EXACTLY what you want and not pay for what you DON'T want. Took delivery of my F-350 this year - took about 4 weeks to get after the order was submitted. Sometimes in the past I have worked directly with a dealership to order, have also used an online 'broker', and this last time I went through COSTCO. Just do your homework first so you know all about the options. As an example, Ford has a really nice cable and lock (by MasterLock) that is in a reel and is attached to the sidewall of the bed back by the tailgate. The cable can reach to the farthest corner of the bed. I doubt you will see too many in vehicles on the lots, but I knew about it because I priced up my truck on Ford's site. I think it was all of $125 (MSRP), but it will be super handy. Another is you can get the bed sprayed from the factory. And that nice prep package for fifth wheel hitches ($335 ?). I got all 3. There's all kinds of stuff available - twin alternators, plug-in heater for the diesel, skid plates, stiffer springs, etc. Just like going to Wal-Mart.

i have factory ordered 17 new trucks and cars .
i never paid more.
i always paid less
i got to order the best paint color and interior.
i got to order the biggest engine with a limited slip differential that it required.
check the dealer inventories , some of those HD pickups do not have locking diffs. ridiculous .
same thing worked with my 21T Komfort .
cheapest price because i had 3 dealers bid for the exact same vehicle .
longest we waited for a factory order was about 6 weeks .

Never understood the fear of ordering a vehicle.

I agree, that is the way it is, but I bought a Chrysler from Dayton Andrews in Clearwater and they did an internet search to find the vehicle I wanted. They located one at a dealer in Volusia County, traded a vehicle with them and then made a customer out of me. Because of that, they sold 3 more new vehicles to our family. Like I said, IF the dealer wants your business and to make you a customer, he has the tools, but most could care less......

Order and buy what you want. It is your money. Remember, if you are like a lot of us, it will be you a long time.

Happiness is priceless when it comes to spending a lot of time in/with a truck towing a trailer longer distances.

Look on eBay. There seems to be a lot in your region both new and used

I would wait a bit and order a 2014 exactly like I want it. A lot of fun and satisfaction :C
