Seatbelt grabs when its not suppose to ???

I tried pulling seatbelt out only enough to fasten it and it works like a champ, I leaned foreward 20X and no problems. Talked to my wife, she says she pulls belt out all the way before she fastens it so problem solved. Thanks

How level is the truck when setting in the driveway? Some of the seat belts use a pendulum to lock the belt and a substantial off level condition will lock them.

My Chevy does the same and it's really annoying. I have to sit back and then lean forward really slowly.
