Second day of hanging out at Deception Pass State Park

If you are exploring? Take a drive down to Whidbey Island Air Station and just follow the marked road west. Go past the gates..another couple miles, a park on the water. Don't take your camera out of the truck...go ahead..ask me how I know.

One of our favorite spots too although it gets pretty congested in high season.

Only the quary pond is open for camping. Water is off for the season. The rest of the park was open daylight hours. It is a nice place to go isn't it. We also like Fort Ebey.
