A few years back I was looking at some Craigs Lists for the 2KW Generators just to see what the market was for them...
I saw one of these generator listed with a photo showing that it had the steel handle cover added for thief protection. I was looking at his provided photo and you see under the cover where the handle was cut into and perhaps this guy had purchased the metal handle cover to hide where it was cut into hehe...

The generator was gone after a few days so I guess he sold it to someone... He was asking around $600
