It's some amazing stuff to see. A cheap can of compressed air and a hammer can defeat just about any lock, chain, or cable we'd use. As the hardness rating goes up, the easier it is to break it. The only sound you would hear would be the ping from your lock or chain breaking. A combination of out of sight out of mind and locking would be the best bet. Just remember there's no fool proof way to prevent someone from stealing. If they really want it, they're going to figure out how to get it. Even if it means taking half of your trailer with it.
