I haven't ever had a full size sedan since I've been married but am thinking about buying a late model Ford Taurus. I did have a 1999 Taurus that I really liked until it got totaled out. I'm retired and don't drive as much as I used to and the Taurus would get better mileage than the mini van that we drive now. I haven't test driven one yet but it's rated very high in the crash tests. I think I read somewhere that it will only tow 1,000 lbs. but I still have my truck. I just found out recently about the water pump problems and now I'm unsure.
Anybody have a later model Taurus that they'd like to comment on?
