We have 3 (kind-of) SUVs right now. Medium (Outback), Large (Traverse), and ExtraLarge (Suburban). The small to mid-sized crossovers are waist high seating and easier to get in/out than sedans that sit low. Fuel economy of 25mpg mixed vs. 30mpg of same sized sedan is not significant to most families budgets. Larger tire sidewalls offer extra protection for potholes.
