A CUV is nothing but a glorified car that sits higher. Most people that I know that have purchased a CUV are older and have a hard time getting in and out of cars that sit lower.
I've drove pickups since high school with a few cars thrown in. Since I ride motorcycles and tow boats they always made more sense. Now I tow a RV as well.
The CUV platform can be made into a car if cars come back into demand as well.
