This is something that has been posted before here and on other forums. It is not just in the RV industry it is becoming common in many places. Funny thing is that I have found good and bad service at the big places as well as the mom & pops. Then they wonder why sales are dropping and customers are not coming in for service.
My suggestion is to keep looking till you find someone then make sure that you treat them nice so hopefully they will put you on their nice list. My Dad would take his mechanic donuts and treats every few months, for him the payback was that he could get a vehicle in the same day for work and they would go out of their way to do the best job possible.
