We had a Chevy Conversion van that we towed a 26 foot TT with when our kids were younger. Carried lots of stuff, the ride was great, and it served as a good second vehicle for the family. We bought used. It had a 6 L, or 350 cu in engine, which provided good power.

I don't know if they still make van conversions, but they are definitely a great way to travel.
