Wife and I looked at the JAYCO 213X a few years back (2010) and it would fit our liking just fine. I would be using a 1/2T Ford F150 however... This might not work well with the smaller SUVs..
The rear slide out bed setup would be great for us and not take up any inside room. We also liked the idea of converting the bicycle storage area in a small storgae area just inside the the outside door and use the the rest of the middle area for an office/computer/Radio setup room.. The bunk beds remove very easy... Even did a drawin of what it might look like haha...
Thought about it for a few months and we still are running the off trail areas with our OFF-ROAD POPUP trailer setup.. hehe
If you are not into the RV TRAVELER mode the smaller trailers are most definitely the way to go...
