Wow, the Coachmen 192RBS certainly is nicer and has a lot of nice conveniences like especially the built in grill, placement of the spare tire, sofa, etc.
Having a cooking surface pull out from the side of the trailer is a great convenience but supplying a grill is a lousy idea as any grill will introduce greasy cooking smells into the camper. I immediately replaced mine with a standard 2-burner Coleman stove, still have the supplied grill stored, never used. Note that this grill / stove is not plumbed into the trailer's propane gas system - rather, you'd run it with a 16.4 oz canister or from a stand alone tank. Pics are in my gallery.
And, wonder if a dealer would let me do a test pull with the 192RBS?
A good dealer would, 'though you might have to make a refundable deposit to show you're serious ... just make it clear upfront that's one of your requirements that you absolutely insist on. That said, keep in mind that any test tow won't accurately reflect how the trailer will tow loaded and ready to camp. Friends of ours, when considering their own purchase, test towed my own 192RBS with their GM V6 SUV and I have to admit it towed pretty well. They subsequently purchased a Starcraft Launch 21FBS with virtually the same floorplan but a couple hundred pounds heavier. Their first season they towed with the SUV but the last trip of the season we went with them to Alleghany State Park and they quickly learned just how poorly that SUV dealt with serious upgrades when towing a trailer of this size. They now tow with a 5.3L Sierra and now can tow their trailer anywhere with confidence. Remember, it's not just about weight but also about having sufficient grunt under the hood to overcome the significant effects of wind resistance at highway speeds. ;)
