Don't have any answer for this other than to say only
some RV manufacturers do this. The vast majority of RVs manufacturing facilities east of the Mississippi are located in Indiana, west of it I don't know much about ... why some find it necessary to have "West only" and "East only" models is a mystery. :h It would be interesting to also know if an "Eastern" dealer could order a "Western" model if the customer was willing to pay the cost of dragging it all the way east. :@
