Pretty neat little spreadsheet you have there.
I did some calculations along the lines of yours.
Your Chevy Avalanche has very similar ratings as my LX470
but your GVWR is 6,800, mine is 6,500 lbs.
Also your GCVW is 13,000, and mine is 12,400 lbs.
Have not actually weighted my LX470 yet - have to figure out where - but
assuming the published Curb Weight of 5,401 and 25 gal * 6lb/gal gasoline = 150lb,
my calculation is that I am approximately 85% of GCWR.
Course I have factored in 400 lbs for "stuff", but nothing for battery, water, etc.
BTW, any suggestions on where to get a vehicle weighted accurately?
