My bad, I see it now. I do think you're being too optimistic--400lbs of stuff in the trailer is not much stuff, and only 10 percent for tongue weight is low. And still you are a couple hundred pounds away from your GVWR. You can do it, but you won't like it. I, and others here, have towed at or over weight, and while it's doable, it's no fun, especially when conditions are less than optimal. Crosswinds, headwinds, rain, passing semis, rough roads, curves, hills, both up and down... all these can combine to make a marginal rig a white knuckle experience, or worse.
