SoundGuy, The website for the 2017 Colemen 192RBS lists:
GVWR = 5,900 lbs
If the yellow stickerfor yours indicates = 2043, then shouldn't the
UVW = 5900 - 2043 CCC = 3857 ? But yours is stamped 3815. <- 42 lb difference.
The one I looked at UVW = 5900 - 1987 = 3913 but paper has it as 3798 <- 115 lb difference
Out of curiosity I Googled a few 2017 FE 192RBS models and noticed a couple of rating differences between my 2014 and the current 2017 192RBS models. First of all, Coachmen no longer lists the "dry weight" of the trailer anywhere (as was the case with my 2014 model) but for 2017 instead lists the GVWR in every case @ 5900 lbs. Secondly, on the yellow sticker that says "THE WEIGHT OF CARGO SHOULD NOT EXCEED xxx KG or xxxx LBS" that rating (in lbs) varied on the models I found from 1967 lbs to 2043 lbs, a difference of 76 lbs, so clearly there's a variance in UVW from one individual model to another depending on how any given unit may be equipped. The 2017 Freedom Express brochure lists the 192's UVW @ 3850 lbs (without options) and CCC @ 2050 lbs, for a GVWR of 5900 lbs. This is why I said earlier that to accurately assess just what you're dealing with you need to know what any given unit's UVW really is as it left the factory. From there it's quite easy to estimate what it will weigh once a battery and propane in the tanks is added, along with the weight of any fresh water you may carry in the water heater and fresh water holding tanks. In my case, with a listed UVW of 3815 lbs my particular 2014 model averages around 4000 lbs before any personal cargo has been loaded into the trailer. In your case, until such time as you may decide to purchase a specific unit I'd use a GVWR of 5900 lbs, CCC of 2050 lbs, and therefore a UVW of 3850 lbs in your calculations. If it turns out later that the particular unit you buy has a somewhat lower UVW then you're just that much ahead. Regardless, I don't see how in practical terms one could tow any 192RBS weighing any less than ~ 4500 lbs loaded and ready to camp, nor with a gross tongue weight under ~ 600 lbs. Once you actually weigh your tow vehicle (as I described earlier) you would then have all the numbers you need to plug into that calculator and come up with a reasonably accurate assessment of what you're dealing with.
