- Perrysburg_DodgExplorerTake it to a detail shop that has a hot water extractor system. Most dealers have these also and it shouldn't cost you more then $200 to get the whole truck detailed and waxed. My dealer charged me $125 to do the whole truck inside and out. But then I did order a $48,000+ truck also. :W
Don - rockhillmanorExplorerSpot Shot carpet stain remover in the spray 'can'. Did the entire carpet in a van with a couple of cans of this stuff. Carpet looked like brand new.
I have had nothing but problems using Stanley Steamer for any carpet. Their equipment leaves WAY too much moisture in the carpet. Within days the carpet is dirty again because of the moisture still in the carpet grabbing all the dirt from traffic etc. - MinnCamperExplorerFloor mats and Tuff Stuff carpet cleaner.

I'm thinking that's your answer right there... Remove it, replace it, offer it for sale.

My has been taken care of since day one and still looks like new. You snooze you loose my friend.
I put weather teck in the winter vehicle though, great product. - The_TexanExplorerI have found that when selling any vehicle, the best investment you can make is $150 to have it professionally detailed. That would take care of the carpet and makes the whole vehicle look the best it can.

But C7XR7 may be correct, Replacing the Carpet may be the best option. - wilber1ExplorerWhat colour is the carpet?
- C7XR7ExplorerYou could replace it. Carpets are not that expensive or difficult to change out and may really help the resell value of your truck beyond the expense.
