Does only senior pass give discounts on camping?
By the way (you may already know this), the half price camping isn't available in every NP campground - usually not offered when a concession company like Delaware North, Xanterra, etc is involved in managing. Sometimes you might receive a small discount or none.
But park-managed dry camping sites in NPs usually will be available to senior pass holders at half price, including those you can reserve online. You simply enter the park pass number when checking out at the end.
The best half price bargains are frequently at Army COE, National Forest, and other public lands campgrounds, when you may find yourself in a waterfront site with a great view, water and electric, flush toilets and showers, etc for less than $10 a night. Again, you can often reserve these ahead, or just show up and include your pass number on the payment form for the human host/ Ranger or Iron Ranger.
