there are 2 messages, 1) service required, which is a mileage based emmisions alert. This is easily cleared with the 2 brake 2 gas trick. The truck has no sensors to detected a plugged CCV filter: it is a mileage based alert only.
I think you are getting the more serious alert which makes me think an e-mail to your tuner's company is in order. I think this is the alert just before the DPF full alert comes up. I bet the tuner can fix that problem easy.
