Absolutely, if you travel with the water tank empty, less tongue weight, and you can fill up when you get to the campground. Also consider this, if you have something big in the back of your truck that weighs lets say 100 lbs. That 100 lbs. goes directly against your payload. Move that 100 lbs into the trailer, and you now only have 13 lbs (at 13 percent) of additional tongue weight (more or less depending on where it is positioned in the trailer). So you saved 87 lbs of payload by where the load is placed.
