OhHolly - One thing is for sure. If you two have your heart set on a particular unit, but settle for something less. I'm afraid that you will regret it.
As pointed out, yes you're close. But adjustments can be made to help with the weight. As already pointed out, don't fill your water tanks. Don't take alot of groceries along and just plan to make a run to the store once you are set up in a CG. In other words, travel light. With the proper hitch set up, you will be okay. Once again, get what you like and what will make you happy. Then as you are sitting outside your camper some evening, talk about the possibility of a tow-vehicle upgrade.
