shelter/cover for Chalet "A frame"

Thanks for the replies. Both of these illustrate the problem. and I am dealing with dirt/gravel at this time.
I am now thinking of extending my carport out another 10 or 20 feet. It
has a peaked roof line.
have to get a carpenter to discuss it with, as I would not want the
'cross timbers", (can't remember the name). Maybe a combination of metal
struts, and wood trim.

Assuming the parking area is paved or well graded simply wheel the camper under the shell and position it by hand. I've rarely met a PUP or an Aliner that I couldn't move solo. Of course this doesn't apply to everyone, but I'm sure you could find a helping hand or two if necessary.

seems to me that if the peak of the shelter goes side to side you would have a bit of an issue backing RV into it?
