Thanks folks, I think I'm gonna love truck camping. I have enjoyed camping all of my life, from cub scouts, tent camping, Cruise America vacation rentals and fifth wheels for 15 years. It's only been a few days but I'm thinking this is the only way to fly! Although, any day camping is good.
Hi 2gordons, chassis cab is the term for Ford 450/550 before Ford begin the 450 pickup. When I bought my 2004 Ford F450 they did not offer a bed. They were all aftermarket. Mine was designed as fifth wheel towing platform. Bed rails are about 7" lower to prevent truck and fiver colliding.
