Shocks and ride height?

Does shock length affect ride height? My truck is supposed to be compatible with both the 4600 and 5100 Bilsteins.

Totally, if you're measuring with a micrometer.

    Say wut?
  • Use the 4600 for stock ride vehicles. You need a lift kit to change the height and they you need 5100.
  • No, neither of those shocks will change ride height. The 5100's are for lifted vehicles. They do not lift the vehicle themselves.
  • The 5100s are ride height adjustable, so yes, shock length can affect ride height.
