well GM back in the 90's put bilsteins on there off road package trucks from the factory. The factory GM delcos of original trucks didnt last a hoot past 50k miles.
My 2006 silvy with 70k miles on it rode like a trampoline over dips in the road with the stock shocks.. Boing boing..
Towing the tt with that long bed was like a see saw.. although it was amplified becuase of the stock gm crappy hitch attached to bumper points..
Bilstiens are the best direction to go IMO..My buddy has them on his F450 and he says has an unsurpassed performance over the old..12000 lbs unibody at the scales..
KYB's are lower end with a better price point..but thats from reviews and readings..
Ranchos are sub par from my experience with them on cars.
