Shocks which do you have and why?
This subject has been posted many times, and I post it again for updated information. My question is what shocks do you run and why? When needed, would you buy them again? I have a 2004 Dodge 35...

Don't know if stock shocks are improved any on new GM vehicles, but I pulled the stock shocks off my 2008 at around 15,000 miles and they were like passenger car shocks compared to the KYB Monomax I replaced them with. The stock shocks would compress and expand under their own weight. I mistakenly took the strap off one of the KYB's before installing and for a moment I thought I was going to need the jack to compress it again to align the mounting holes.
