Shocks
We have a 2011 Chevy Suburban which we pull our TT with. I need to get new rear shocks for it. I hear firestone shocks are up to the task, but I'll take advice. Not to keen on the airbag kind, but I'll take all ideas. Thanks.

- Did plenty of research before replacing the shocks on my Excursion and the Bilsteins were the recommendation of many who towed. Replaced the shocks 3 years ago and have towed from Maine to Florida and definitely noticed the difference.

Looks like Bilstein has changed their branding and part numbers. The old HD shock and part number are still up on the Canadian website, but the US site lists them as 4600 with the new (and old as well) part numbers. Thanks.brulaz wrote:

- Replace all 4 corners with Bilsteins The only way to go
- I don't think Firestone makes shocks. Do you mean air bags?
Very few people are unsatisfied with Blistiens. You probably want to change the front too. If your Suburban is anything like mine the OEM shocks are crappy brand new. - I replaced my rears with a KYB gas shock a few weeks ago and much better ride, have to wait and see what its like with the trailer hooked up in a few weeks
