Like wandering stated, look at rvtrader and rvt, both of which will give you dealers that WILL give you an OTD price. If you are in FL, some of these are within a one day drive (MO and SC). Get a price agreed upon by you both using email, arrange to go pick it up and do a PDI, stay locally for a day or two to make sure there are going to be no problems and head back home or on vacation. If you need service, you can get a certified RV tech to handle the service or you can take it to your local dealer, but will probably get better service from the RV tech. If it'll save you over 2K, it's worth the one-day drive, at least to me it is.

Here are two RVs that are the same floorplan, but not a PUMA. Also, if/when you go for your PDI, they do have several spots on their lot where you can spend the night to check everything out following your PDI. I dealt with salesman, Pete Klei.
