Bed challenge, put in 8ft sheets of plywood or dry wall. Turn the short bed 90 degrees pulling 5W w/o a slider.

learn to back in to parking spaces. Its easy with good mirrors. I"ll never give up an 8' bed. Any bed shorter costs you bed space, maybe means a slider hitch ($) no toolbox or extra fuel tank ( loss of storage, fueling more often) Longer wheelbase adds up to better handling and ride.

Test drive each. You will likely opt for the 8' bed.

Long bed Dually Crew daily driver. Would not have anything else.

No it won’t fit in most garages, don’t care!!!
