there's no contest, people who don't buy the B&W are only buying on price IMO and have not used one.
I absolutely love mine and do not regret spending the money on it.

for what its worth, I wouldn't hesitate to haul a 5er that would be 5-7ft longer and 2500-4000lbs heavier, my 34ft, 10k lb 5er is barely a workout for this new truck. When we say short bed, these aren't extended cab trucks with 5.5ft beds, they still have a long wheelbase because of the size of the cab and they are very stable and ride extremely well - if you've concerned about ride quality and stability with the 6.75ft bed VS the 8ft, don't be - the 8ft will simply offer more room for storage.
