The yard horse at work has a DPF Cummins engine...it has to do a parked regeneration every DAY! Takes anywhere from 15-40 minutes & burns about three gallons of fuel. It's already had to go to Cummins once to have the DPF cleaned out.
They kind of wish they had kept the ratty old late-80's Ottawa with its oil-burning, smoke-belching engine that had less down time in three years than this turd has managed in nine months!
Anyone offer a gasser yard horse?
I think a number of heavy duty OEM's offer low emissions natural gas fueled spark plug trucks.
