That's what everybody else does in the gubbamint. Blame somebody else when something does not work right. Cover your behind.
You really need to learn how this "works" out in subcontractor land....
My stepson is in the wholesale exhaust business and he tells me the Feds are really coming down hard on companies making and/or installing deletes etc. Fines are being handed out! Proceed with caution! Times are changing and they(the Feds) are very serious this time.
He has a client in Idaho that had suits walk into their shop and say "did you modify this customers(Joe Blow) truck? Do not ever do this kind of work again!"

It seems to me it would be easier and probably cheaper to find an older truck - one without the def systems. There are plenty of pre-05 trucks out there looking for new homes.
