- HalmfamilyExplorerThis should have been caught while doing your PDI. I would remove all of that and lay 6" Eternabond tape over the joints.
- SprinklerManExplorerCaulk adheres better if it were cleaned first
- ChevytwonovaExplorerJust emailed the dealer and the owner who called was very mad and concerned she wants me to bring it in so they can do a proper job.

This is a brand new camper (2015) it has been out in the yard for a few years now. I just wonder if they put this stuff on right before i picked up the TT. I do feel like i should mention this to them being that i have a year warranty? what do you think
This being a brand-new-camper!! :E WOW!!! This being the case, I would guess that a leak may have been discovered while on the dealer lot and they sent out some 'goofus' to seal it up. Yes.. some concern is in order. - coolbreeze01Explorer

Looks like panic sealing to stop a leak. Let us know what your dealer says. Maybe all Keystone roofs look like that? - danimal53Explorerhow "neat" should dicor look? the self-leveling stuff is pretty runny and I can definitely see why it would sort of spread itself out and end up looking sloppy, especially on a sunny day. I figure it actually does a better job sealing the seams since it can kind of penetrate into cracks if that makes sense. do i have the wrong impression?
- jornExplorerThat's a NEW trailer? Yeahhhhhh, I'd go back and start asking some serious questions about this situation. I don't want to be a Debby Downer here, but that doesn't look like something I'd pay anywhere near new price for. Two things seem obvious:
1. Somebody went up there and did that for a reason. I'd want to know that reason.
2. Who ever did #1 did a crappy job. ;) Maybe it was pouring rain when they were up there? - ChevytwonovaExplorerThis is a brand new camper (2015) it has been out in the yard for a few years now. - danimal53Explorerwhile that does look pretty sloppy on the newer white parts, the dirtier, thick-band of sealant is pretty much what my new TT seals look like at a lot of the seams, and it's a year old. The dicor self-leveling stuff stays kind of gummy, and doesn't fully cure to be hard so it stays flexible. I would give it a good inspection and like others have said, if there's no damage other than just sloppy caulk job, i think it's ok

Is there something posted such as a HowTo for roof inspection and resealing? I know I would like to see one, I want my trailer to be leak free for as long as possible.
You may find videos on here or youtube. You are basically looking for cracks or missed areas. I would also look at all the windows and anything on the sides such as lights etc. I sealed around all my windows with geocell or proflex clear. I believe that is what it is called. Search on here as these fine people have talked about it. I had a leak at a slide window and found that they had missed the opening with the putty tape at the factory. I wasn't about to remove every window to see if they missed any others so I sealed around all of them.
There are also problems like my son had with a TT. They had gouged a small spot under the edge of the ac unit where you couldn't see it and over cut the epdm near one of the vents. When they Dicored it they missed about a 1/4 inch of that cut and the plywood got wet and started to pop up a little. It was much more extensive around the ac unit but had not gone down the walls or damaged the ceiling. They wanted $5,200 to fix it or $3,500 to do an open heart surgery cut from the front trim to the ac and scab in a piece of plywood. We did the same surgery and sealed it back up with dicor for $200. It's that or strip it.
