Should I even consider a new TV with repaired lot damage?

It would all depend on the "DAMAGE EXTENT".. Anything to save a buck...

I would ask them if they would put in writing that the damage was repaired by them and see if they would extend coverage to that area...
My wife's new car had a small paint chip on the edge of the rear lift gate..
They repaired to the point it cannot be seen.. and they placed a note in the computer stating the area of damage, and to COVER IT up to the life of the extended warranty on the car itself.. AND gave us a discount
