Should I even consider a new TV with repaired lot damage?

You should know. For it even to be reported on carFax. the damage has to reach a certain $ amount. $900 ain't it. In fact it is much higher. I doubt anyone would know based on a report from that dealership. The only one they told is you, because you are interested in it.

In truth. The damage is so light. YOU would not even have to report it at resale. The trackers are only looking for serious damage.

So yeah. They make you a price you like. Take it.
