Should I even consider a new TV with repaired lot damage?

There should be no reason a reputable dealer could not repair it to look like new, if an experienced body man could spot the damage it wasn't done properly. If the crunch was more than cosmetic they would have replaced the door. You would be amazed at the number of vehicles that come off the carrier with bumps and bruises.
