I think there has been some misleading info, concerning ALL Fords with IBC having heavy trailer brake setting. Yes my 13 will keep track of miles towed with several different trailers, and can be set for electric, or electric-over-hydraulic. Maybe newest Fords have a heavy setting, IDK.
My thinking, concerning Ford IBCs capability to lock brakes when attempting to adjust controller is, it is the trailer brakes/wiring causing some to work poorly, and others to work great.
In any case, with wife giving approval to get a new truck, go for it, as there is a chance the heavy feature may have been added at some point. :W
