Yes, every appliance ever installed has had braising done to the line.
As far as a shutoff in an RV, lol, no. Turn off your tanks and run the stove till it sputters out and then detach the pigtail and blow some air in with the burner open. Any trace gas after that won't do anything that your torch isn't already.
