If you can't pull a 20 foot TT with something like that you better give it up.
I used to tow my 1993 20 foot TT with a 1995 F-150 that had a 5.0 L (or 302 to us old timers) and it handled it just fine. I couldn't go 80 mph up hill on the interstate or anything, nor would I want to. But, for 55-65 I had no problem.
There was at time people towed TT's with cars. You wouldn't want to do that with any modern car but, if your 1/2 ton Chevy pickup with a 5.7 can't handle a TT that small you better go buy a Ford or Dodge.
