I don't know how big is the 4500/5500 market is, but the margins must be healthy if you have GM getting back in.
Just bought a 2017 Ram 5500 at work. We need a 19,500# truck for what I do. The ONLY other optionThe ONLY other option is Kenworth and Peterbilt. Our company always bought Fords but never again. If we could have waited we may have brought a new Chevy. Couldn't wait that is why we have the Ram.
So yes, I'd say GM is about to find an opening.
Try Freightliner Business Class, not Paccar. Freightliner is the undisputed leader in medium duty cab and chassis trucks. You need to research before posting....
I did research before posting. Not sure why we need smartallec comments such as yours. 8 months ago my research proved that Freightliner and Navistar DID NOT offer a 19,500# truck.
Obviiously you have some issue that I don't really care about. KW and Pete don't either. Freightliner offers business class 5,6 and 7 cabs and chassis btw.
You need to do your homework. Have a nice day btw.
I did the research. Freightliner did not offer a lo-pro truck when we were shopping. Facts are facts. And you have provided none.
My advice to you is to let it go. Sidecar is quickly developing a reputation of posting inflammatory comments and he has trouble getting his own facts correct. Not worth wasting your time.
