I happen to have a strange distaste for the Chevy emblem and like the relative exclusivity of the GMC compared to Chevy. These alone make it a no brainer. Then there are the small trim and feature differences that make the decision final.
As for the same parts - the fenders are different with the Sierra being the sleeker and more pleasing to the eye than the Silverado, in my book.
Bow tie; the symbol of class at high class events. Go to a high class event and what do you see people wearing? Bow ties, that's what.
You don't ever see anybody wearing a "GMC" around their neck as a product of class.
What do you see on the front of classy trucks? A bow tie that's what. Duuuuuuu. :W
