I assume the transfer case work was for the pump rub issue.
I would suggest removing the transfer case and checking all the bearings and the pump.
The pump rub was fixed before fluid loss, but I was wondering if I got the snap ring on the bearing when I put it together. I stopped at a transmission shop today and ran it on a hoist. It is the transfer case, but they said it would grind if the snap ring wasn't on right.I checked and the snap ring is installed correctly. I wonder if the pump did fail.
