tandem axle trailers are much more stable than a single axle.
and the blowout thing is true.
i'm assuming your daughter has a weaker tow vehicle, that locks her into the 3500lbs. GVWR group.
if so, PLEASE look closely at the CCC amounts for that group of trailers. almost all have VERY low cargo capacities.
