I get in my LongHorn DRW and I constantly think and tell my wife how much I LOVE my Truck. Sure it may be EASIER to drive a SRW when it comes to finding a parking spot. That is really the only minor negative for me. I simply look for an end spot and pull up on the curb or park out and take two.
So in the Summer in the NW, which gets the most miles, the 2015 duallie or the 2nd gen SRW? Seems we went to lunch in the 2500.
Yep the DRW sat mostly last summer. I missed my 98 so I bought the 01 Sport. For one I want my 7 year 100k warranty to time out. I also didn’t want my DRW banged up at the boat trailer parking area. I have property and don’t want to remove my hitch or big tool box to use the bed. - Me_AgainExplorer III

Ron and I both drive our 3500's (DRW and SRW) in the winter as daily drivers. I would not attack a guys bike! Riding in the winter in the SW is special vs staying in the NW in the winter! I have a friend in our park that just got a 2008 Goldwing trike with only 5500 miles on the clock and I am jealous. - MFLNomad II^^^Lets not forget, he also has a 2-wheeled daily driver.

- Super_DaveExplorerI really hate driving my dually if I'm not towing, so I don't. If my truck had to be a daily driver I would probably switch to a SRW truck. Maybe when I'm old and don't tow anymore.

Well you could wash your car 6 days a week for 6 months a year with that method around here!
This is the only frickin place I've ever washed my cars in the rain!
The upside is you don't have to blow/wipe them down to keep the water spots off. Rain water rinse baby! - blt2skiModeratorCummins,

I lay awake at night knowing I can't get my dually through a drive through.
I can get through some drive trough's, I can also fit in many parking garages height is more of an issue.
The inability to go through an automatic car wash in my area is one of the biggest downsides.
My next truck will be SRW.
From my VW Golf to my two DRW's I never have used an auto car wash. I simply don't miss what I never used.
