Never had condensation between the dome and inner cover. Found a drip and removed the inner cover and the dome was leaking. There were cracks at the spot where the dome curves to form the flange due to deterioration of the plastic dome. Wound up with some water damage in the rafters, roof plywood (luan plywood) and inner ceiling panel. Make sure the sealant is in good shape and that the dome is not cracking.
