skylight

I have an Aliner camper. One of the skylights has developed a leak. I read the post about which caulk to use. Can you give me any information on how to take the skylight apart? Can I just remove the trim on the inside of the skylight and caulk around the inside or do I have to remove the trim on the outside or the whole skylight.

    I've had no firsthand experience with an ALiner, but with every other "through-port" assembly, including pop-ups, boats and houses, it's essential to seal the side exposed to the elements, otherwise all you do is trap water inside the roof/hull/wall until it finds another route to the inside. :/
