Actually that's quite ugly and no laughing matter. A few Open Range models have had a similar issue. Open Range has added an L-channel on the exterior of the slide to flash/protect the exact corners you are having an issue with.While it maybe too late for your current issue you may consider adding the corner channel to protect slides going forward.
