Slide maintence and general winter storage questions

Sounds like you have a good plan. So unless you were to bring the battery out to the dealers lot, you won't be moving the slide anyway.
In regards to your question about what to put on the slide seals, I don't have a good answer for you. However, I suspect you will get plenty of input here.
