Thanks Ron....I was thinking of something that also included mounting to the floor. I am just not sure what is in the wall there, and fear they screwed the original motor to a styrofoam sandwich wall.
Not sure how I could find studs (if there are any) in that wall. I think a stud finder would pick up all the staples holding the slide flange gasket right above the motor.
Local dealer did call forest river, who said the original manufacturer of the drive assembly is no more, and a new Company was making the motor, but they were bought out by Lippert...looks like I do have the replacement motor they are using now (feared a wrong motor caused some of this).
